Senior Marketing Consultant

We're seeking a senior-level marketing consultant to join our boutique-sized consulting and marketing services firm. This exciting and highly challenging role provides the right mid-career candidate with continued professional growth, a strong work-life balance, a competitive salary and benefits package, and the opportunity to design innovative marketing strategies that deliver lasting breakthrough growth and success.


Description of Role:

As a senior marketing consultant working remotely and in our office, you'll be chartered with working closely with clients to design and implement essential components apart of a typical corporate marketing strategy. Your collaborative efforts will prove highly successful in enabling our customers to bring about measurable increases in their brand awareness, customer engagement, customer acquisition,  revenue growth. To be successful in this role,  you'll have a strong understanding and a minimum of 8 years of proven success in being highly adept at forging new working relationships with marketing leadership and other stakeholders in a diverse mix of smaller to mid-sized organizations, and positioning yourself and our firm as a uniquely capable and trusted resource in developing comprehensive marketing strategies and program that prove instrumental in facilitating breakthrough growth and success in their brand awareness, customer growth, and in top-end revenue growth. With minimal supervision, you will work closely with a member of our client services team provide important deliverables to their marketing department that may include, marketing capabilities audit, SWOT analysis, market research, customer data  analysis, digital roadmap strategy planning and execution, analysis of customer lifecycle, evaluation of popular marketing automation platforms, creating and helping institute marketing-sales best practices to ensure alignment, and related initiatives. This is a senior-level role that requires our newest team member to be a well-practiced strategist, skilled tactician, and project manager who wants to have a substantial impact on helping cutting-edge companies to create from scratch or redesign critical facets of their broader marketing strategy to generate breakthrough growth and success.


 Primary Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Drive the development and execution of marketing strategies in support of customers' interrelated marketing and growth goals

  • Successfully fulfill a wide range of client engagements that require project planning,  execution of  deliverables, and measuring ROI

  • Collaboratively develop integrated marketing strategies for clients using Sovartis' proprietary management consulting framework

  • Analyze, manipulate and synthesize insights from large data sets for both qualitative and quantitative research in support of projects

  • Collaborate with, share, and assist client project team members including, knowledge transfer and documentation of best practices 

 Required Skills and Competencies:

  • 8+ years of proven experience in a marketing consulting role working collaboratively with small to medium sized B2B businesses 

  • Exceptionally strong written and oral communication ability; well-skilled at making effective presentations to senior management

  • Demonstrated organizational and project management success with minimal direction

  • Demonstrated success taking on customer focused consulting roles, with an emphasis on marketing or related business services

  • Exceptionally strong  marketing acumen; in depth understanding of digital and traditional multichannel marketing, social-media
    marketing, content branding, email marketing, paid/unpaid search, print-communications, and marketing automation solutions

  • Proven ability to draw marketing strategies from advanced analysis, and formulate marketing strategy based on insights 

  • Articulate and professional demeanor 

  • Willingness to travel up to 50% across geographic regions 

  • Willingness to submit to a background check and drug test

  • Able to legally work in the United States
